Beginning in June and continuing through August, the Snow Goose will be on adventures in Southeast Alaska. In addition to our scheduled trips to Frederick Sound, Admiralty Island National Monument, Baranof Warm Spring, the Inside Passage, this small boat cruise offers personalized adventure trips. Our itinerary is one of exploration, so we stop and spend time to walk in the rain forest or to watch whales, bears or a glacier calving.
4 Southeast Alaska Wildlife Cruise Schedule
As lifetime teachers and researchers of marine biology and environmental science, we invite you to share our knowledge of and excitement for the natural history of Southeast Alaska.
The 65' steel-hulled motor vessel Snow Goose was originally built in Alaska for exploring the Inside Passage. She was converted for research and educational programs with local schools and is fully equipped with marine research instruments, making her ideal for academic research and natural history explorations. She sleeps 12 in six private cabins, with three heads and two showers. The main deck features a spacious, airy salon, natural history library, galley and dining area. A perfect way to cruise in small boat style!

Our small boat cruises on the Snow Goose offer you an up close and personal experience with the wildlife and natural beauty of Southeast Alaska. We emphasize natural history, Native American traditions, and the wonders of nature. With an expert naturalist on board we offer information on the glaciers and plants of southeast Alaska as well as the wildlife:

Days will be spent watching wildlife and learning about their habits and feeding patterns. During the trip our naturalists will help us learn about the local ecology and the native cultures through discussions, slide shows and the use of the on board natural history library.
Activities include hikes, kayaking, discussion and relaxation. The itinerary is intentionally flexible to accommodate the wild life, weather and tides.
