Some of you that have traveled on the Snow Goose may wonder what she looks like below the waterline. Here are some photos taken by my 6 year old son Ivan. Our annual haul out and Coast Guard inspection this winter was a success. Don’t let the photos fool you, Paul and I painted as fast as we could due to the fact that the rain was relentless and the snow was beginning to fly. Now she is safe back in her slip on Gate 12 with a seaweed and barnacle free belly. With a little more to do, we’re getting ready for a season with the Marine Science Program and cruising in remote Alaska.
